Well hello there, divine one! 👋🏾
Hey there, it’s ya girl Shantice [Sh-anne-teece]. Think of me as your go-to for energy alchemy, sound healing, and tarot & oracle guidance.
I facilitate spaces of healing, rest, reflection and self-love as a Reiki therapist, healing sound artist, energy alchemist, full spectrum birth & abortion doula, and tarot & oracle reader via my practice, Reiki by Shan.
I’m certified as a level III Reiki Master, trained under the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage and crystal bowl & tuning fork specialist, trained by Otomi Therapy in Tokyo, Japan.
I am passionate about Reiki's energy healing qualities. More specifically, I love its ability to be used as a tool to manage and process stress, how it brings people back into their flow state, and how Reiki highlights the interconnectedness & oneness shared between us all.
I hope to share energy healing with the world, but I’m especially spirited to connect the benefits of these ancient healing modalities to Black & Indigenous folx as restorative tools to access while on their path to liberation, ease, and essentially back to Self.
I enjoy adding sound bowl healing and tarot & oracle readings to my practice to deepen the experience of our sessions. I feel that energy work + divination is a winning combination in turning inward and re-connecting with your sacred, deep within space. When you go within, your empowered, balanced Self can properly navigate and alchemize your outer world.

Why be in devotion if not to yourself?

I am my first client.
It’s funny meeting you like this. Honestly, I never thought or imagined I’d have “clients” in my lifetime. That was never the goal when I started this path. What brought me here was (and is) my own personal healing journey. What that’s led me to is beyond my wildest imagination. It led me to my purpose. And somewhere on that adventure, I’ve met you.

You are your own healer. I’m simply here to help.
I believe deeply that you are your own healer. It’s an honor to collaborate with my clients on their self-healing journey by holding sacred space and adding in my unique offerings to them as they show up for themselves
Sharing my skills & unique offerings to support your innate personal power and sovereignty ties your journey to my purpose. Think of me as a mirror. I can’t wait to get to know you more and reflect your fullness back onto you. Let’s get to it.

The cat’s out the bag.
I hope to share Reiki healing with the world, but I’m especially spirited to connect the benefits of this ancient healing modality to Black, Brown, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) folx as a restorative tool to access while on their path to liberation and back to Self. I strongly believe that these offerings should be accessible to Black & BIPOC folx and see them as restorative justice tools. I am unapologetically aligned with reparations, voluntarily or otherwise.
I view the reclamation of ancestral and indigenous healing practices, wealth and resources as an inherently revolutionary act of repair, restoring connections to traditions that were forcibly taken from BIPOC communities through colonialism and systemic oppression. Through my works, I bridge personal and collective healing to foster liberation and wholeness.
You down with the clique? Pay a session forward to Black or BIPOC person today!

Who is Omi? 🧜🏽♀️✨🌊
Shantice, also lovingly known as Omi [Oh’mee] - meaning water in Yoruba - is an Aborisha (Orisha devotee) practicing & studying in the Lucumi/Ifa faith, an ATR (African Traditional Religion). She is an Omo (child of) Yemaya, who is the Queen of the Ocean and The Great Mother of all. Omi OOOOOOO!
Omi / Shantice is a member of and learning from the elders of Ile Orunmila Oshun, founded and led by Chief Iyanifa Fajembola Fatunmise also known as Yeye Luisah Teish. Through her Ile, Omi is also a member of a few egbes where she learns & grows with her spiritual family, to include:
Egbe Oluwosan - The Healer's Hut
Egbe Egungun - The Ancestral Reverence Unit
Egbe Omi Tutu - Children of the Water Spirits
Egbe Omi Leye - Water Rituals
Egbe Apeere - Art + Design
Egbe Voudon & Hoodoo
For your consideration: The Jambalaya School, founded by Yeye Luisah Teish and co-managed with Ilé Orunmila Oshun, is a sanctuary to-be in the Bay Area dedicated to gathering, healing, and learning. This cherished dream serves as an epicenter of spiritual activism, preserving cultural wisdoms & sacred arts, and ancestral healing both locally and globally.
In these challenging times, spiritual activism is more crucial than ever—offering resilience, wisdom, and collective empowerment in the face of injustice. The Jambalaya School embodies this sacred work, providing a space for deep healing, ancient tools & wisdom, and transformative action. Your support for this fundraiser will help sustain and expand this vital hub for spiritual growth and activism.
The Orisha (deity) Yemaya is revered as the mother of all Orishas and the patroness of the ocean. She also holds parallels with the Virgin Mary. Yemaya represents the nurturing and protective aspects of motherhood & the divine feminine. Her association with water symbolizes both life and cleansing, as water is seen as a purifying force of nature in Yoruba tradition.
